Side-Lying External Rotation

Health Benefit: To improve shoulder strength and stability along with promoting proper posture.

Instruction: Lying on your left side, hold a 1 to 5 lb dumbbell in your right hand.  Keeping your elbow bent to 90 degrees and pressed tightly against your side, raise your right forearm towards the ceiling.  Repeat 10 to 15 times each set.  Do 1 to 3 sets on each arm.
