TESTIMONIALS
On December 11, 2004, I underwent my second back surgery in a three-month period. I am an avid golfer who set as a goal to play golf again this summer. After three months of physical therapy at AthletiCo’s new Golf Performance Center in Oak Brook, I was sold immediately on this concept and became a patient of Cory Puyear in April.
Through Cory’s instruction I have been able to return to the game that I love. Cory has helped me understand the importance of proper exercises to strengthen my stomach and back muscles to prevent future injury. In addition, both Cory and Sam McKenney have instructed me in the proper golf posture and correct swing mechanics. They have proven to me that proper posture along with the right mechanics will place minimal pressure on my spine. Through the end of July I have played seven rounds of golf and have made great progress. I would recommend Cory to any golfer facing rehabilitation and needing improvement with their golf swing.

The combination of physical conditioning and professional golf instruction in AthletiCo’s Golf Conditioning Program helped me better understand and improve my body and my swing. As a result of AthletiCo Golf Program, my average score has improved by 5-10 strokes!

Thanks again to you both (Cory Puyear and Sam McKenney) for the wonderful things we accomplished through your golf fitness program. My body feels great and the results are evident in my golf swing. The combination of physical hard work and the golf technology you have is truly the only way to improve ones body and golf swing.

Sam/Cory:
Having never broken 80 before my 75 came as quite a surprise. Don’t know if I will do it again soon but the keys were a relaxed but focused mental “zone”, loose/soft hands and all the things you guys worked with me on over the winter. I always thought I would have to fight my way to a 79/78. I hope this is just a start of a new “effortless” approach to golf and better scores. My goals for this year were to break 80 and get to a 8/9 handicap. One down, with a little consistency the next is within reach. Again, thanks.

Greetings Sam and Cory!
I have studied that video and have practiced the concepts Sam taught me in early March. I have worked on the issues in the video and have been patient with the concepts Sam worked on in the March lesson. I am seeing excellent results and now realize that my goal of being a 15 at Itasca Country Club is going to be achieved without too much difficulty.
My entire golf game has changed. I hit the ball 30-50 yards further and I am now in the Fairway about 50% of the time, and generally not too far off when I am not. 2 weeks ago I shot an 81 from the blue tees at Itasca CC (slope 133). It was incredible and I will admit that everything went just right. The next day I shot a 91, but that was OK. I am trending to a 16 in the next handicap revision. I must also admit that the old Chuck does make frequent appearances on the golf course, but I now have the tools to get back to a better swing. Thank you to both of you.
